The State Administration of State Administration and government affairs management departments at all levels will take this publicity campaign as an opportunity to guide public institutions at all levels and of all types to further improve the management level of energy-saving and carbon-reduction transformation projects.
Compared with 2023, the coal-fired power consumption structure of public institutions across the country will continue to be optimized in 2024, with the proportion of electricity consumption increasing by 3.01% and the proportion of raw coal consumption decreasing by 1.85%; the proportion of total energy consumption and total water consumption in the whole society will decrease by 0.24% and 0.08% respectively. In the past three years, public institutions across the country have implemented a comprehensive conservation strategy and actively promoted energy conservation and carbon reduction through market-based mechanisms. More than 700 new energy cost trusteeship projects have been added to public institutions across the country, with a contract value of more than 22 billion yuan, effectively promoting green and low-carbon transformation.
