It is understood that BIPV (building integrated photovoltaics) is to deeply integrate photovoltaic building materials from the beginning of building planning and design, so that photovoltaic power generation can run through the entire life cycle of the building from planning, design, construction to operation and maintenance.

In the Far East Photovoltaic Low-Carbon Lighthouse Factory Project, China Construction Industry Group used Light A photovoltaic modules and standard rooftop modules to complete the renovation of its own buildings. The total installed capacity of the project is 2.08MW, with an annual power generation of up to 2 million kWh, meeting more than 30% of its own electricity consumption. Through the efficient use of renewable energy, it has greatly reduced the carbon emissions of the park, becoming a model of low-carbon green park, and obtained the zero-energy building national identification certification from the China Building Energy Conservation Association in 2024, setting a benchmark for the sustainable development of other parks.
